President Donald Trump is calling for the resignation of MSNBC hosts Nicolle Wallace and Rachel Maddow, after they criticised his decision to make DJ Daniel, a 13-year-old cancer survivor, an honorary Secret Service agent.

“They have lost such credibility; and, frankly, what Nicolle Wallace said – I’ve never been a fan of hers, and she’s not very talented – but I’ll tell you, what she said the other day about that young man is disgraceful. She should be forced to resign,” the president told reporters in the Oval Office last Thursday. “And Rachel Maddow should be forced to resign. Nobody watches her anyway. I don’t know if – it’s not possible they pay her as much money as I hear – but certainly she’s lost all credibility,” he went on to claim.

The news comes after the hosts took aim at Trump’s move on their show last Tuesday. They claimed that the president was exploiting and politicising the teen’s cancer survival journey.

“For the record – and this is disgusting – the president made a spectacle out of praising a young man who’s thus far survived paediatric cancer, as if the president had something to do with that,” Maddow said. “This was in the midst of him praising Doge. The Doge cuts, among other things, have cut off funding for ongoing research into paediatric cancer.”

Mikula is a photographer who experiments with a “mix of old and new technologies, constructing her work within self-imposed limits”, states her website.

Her work has been shown in both solo and group exhibitions across New York, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles and more. It’s also featured in the permanent collection of the US Embassy for the Department of State’s Art in Embassies.
