Power Rangers actor Dave Mallows has died at the age of 76.
The actor was best known for voicing the villain of Baboo - one of Rita Repulsa's henchmen - in the Mighty Morphin Power Rangers series. The superhero show aired on Fox Kids from 1993 until 1995.
As well as working on Power Rangers, Dave voiced characters in various video games, such as Diablo III, World of Warcraft: Legion, and Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition. He also provided his voice in Digimon: Digital Monsters, which was dubbed in English.
Dave reportedly died on Tuesday (March 11) after being in hospice care. He had been staying at the MonteCedro Senior Living Community in California.

A former colleague told TMZ that Mallow's health had been declining in recent years and that although his passing is upsetting, it is not totally unexpected. Tributes have poured in for the star online following news of his passing.
One fan wrote on Reddit: "RIP legend.." Another commented: "I heard his voice so many times growing up and he was a big part of my early anime fandom. He will be missed."
A fan on X, formerly Twitter, commented: "Heartbroken to hear of the passing of veteran voice actor Dave Mallow, he was one of the cornerstones of my childhood with Digimon, Power Rangers & FLCL, rest in peace and thank you for the memories." A third penned: "RIP Dave Mallow," alongside heart emojis.

A fourth added: " "Rest in Peace Dave Mallow, best known for Angemon and his evolutions as well as other digimon plus Rita's henchman Baboo from Mighty Morphin Power Rangers and other monsters of the week." He is survived by
Digimon star Joshua Seth, who famously played Tai in several adaptations of Digimon, credits Dave with helping to launch his career. The pair worked together on The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee.
The star played news and sports announcers in several films, including Adam Sandler's hit The Waterboy, Nixon, and The Yards, BasketBall and The Seige. The same goes for TV shows such as Everybody Loves Raymond and Roseanne.
He also voiced commercials for Bud Ice, Energizer Batteries, IHOP, Visa and Lexus. Dave also voiced the Dow Scrubbing Bubble, the talking toothbrush for 1-800-Dentist.
In 2007, he was was nominated for both Best Actor and Best Actor in a Comedy for the 1st Annual American Anime Awards held in New York City. He was also a writer and director who contributed to several anime projects.
He had not been active professionally since 2019. The actor is survived by his older sister, Marilyn, who also resides at MonteCedro.
