After a trial run in some South Florida cities last weekend, we’re getting serious about St. Patrick’s Day traditions, with Delray Beach’s iconic parade and festival on Saturday, a concert from Dublin rock band Inhaler (with Bono’s son on vocals and guitar) and corned beef out the o’wazoo. Veni, vidi, Vito: Actor Joe Gannascoli, best known for playing gay mobster Vito Spatafore on the iconic HBO series “The Sopranos,” will host an evening of trivia and storytelling called “The Sopranos Experience” at The Studio at Mizner Park in Boca Raton at 7:30 p.m. Friday. In a conversation this week, Gannascoli offered a sample trivia question: Vito’s debut in Season 2 was not Gannascoli’s first appearance on “The Sopranos.” Describe his debut scene on the show. … We asked for the answer, but it was one of those “If I tell ya, I’d have to kill ya” kind of deals. Dublin down: Irish rock band Inhaler, led by Elijah Hewson, son of U2’s Bono, is on its first Florida tour swing, stopping at Revolution Live in Fort Lauderdale on Friday. Brigham Young at heart: The touring production of “The Book of Mormon,” the long-running Broadway musical satire from the creators of “South Park” (it’s very “South Park”), sets up at the Kravis Center in West Palm Beach this weekend. A new ‘Roof’: Inventive theater company Zoetic Stage and artistic director Stuart Meltzer unveil their interpretation of the timeless classic “Fiddler on the Roof” at the Arsht Center in Miami this weekend for a run through April 6. Pipe dreams: The Delray Beach St. Patrick’s Day Parade, now in its 55th year and one of the region’s best Irish celebrations, returns to Atlantic Avenue at noon Saturday with an extraordinary collection of marching bands. The lineup will include the Dublin Fire Brigade Pipe Band, the Washington, D.C., Fire Department Pipes and Drums, Greater Boston Firefighters Pipes and Drums and Palm Beach County Firefighters Pipes and Drums. The signature post-parade festival on Old School Square will run from 1 to 5 p.m., with food, drink, kids activities and performances by Celtic rock band Bangers and Mash (1 p.m.) and U2 tribute band Vertigo (3:30 p.m.). 10 years of beer: Home of some of the area’s most intensely flavorful Belgian-style beers, Barrel of Monks Brewing in Boca Raton will celebrate its 10th anniversary on Saturday from 4 to 8 p.m. The party will include a vintage beer-tasting tent, yard games, live music and food from the always inventive Cheffrey Eats — apparently serving a Pastrami Burnt Ends Cheesesteak sandwich on Saturday. War story: New World Symphony will assemble at the Arsht Center in Miami on Saturday, joined by celebrated vocalists Christine Goerke, Ian Bostridge, Roderick Williams and other choral singers, to perform Benjamin Britten’s epic War Requiem. Pairing the traditional Latin text of the Requiem Mass with anti-war poetry of soldier Wilfred Owen, killed in the last days of World War I, the piece written for the consecration of Coventry Cathedral in 1962 is one of the great choral works of the last century. Clark bar: Generational guitarist Gary Clark Jr., a four-time Grammy winner, will play Hard Rock Live in Hollywood at 8 p.m. Saturday, with soul singer Danielle Ponder opening. Matisyahu unplugged: Jewish-American performer Matisyahu, a thoughtful synthesizer of hip-hop, rock, reggae and spiritual themes, will play two acoustic concerts this weekend. A good walk: The 20th anniversary of the Florida AIDS Walk fundraiser and music festival takes place at Fort Lauderdale Beach Park on Saturday, with headliner entertainment by British pop singer and TV personality Rita Ora and Salt-N-Pepa’s DJ Spinderella.
