Daniel Craig in Narnia? The former 007 might be heading to Aslan’s kingdom

Looks like Daniel Craig might be swapping espionage for enchantment! The former James Bond has reportedly been offered a role in Greta Gerwig’s The Chronicles of Narnia adaptation for Netflix. While Craig hasn’t officially signed on, speculation is rife about whether he’ll voice the mighty Aslan, play the wise Professor Kirke, or surprise us with another iconic role. Gerwig, fresh off her Barbie success, is helming two Narnia films, set to hit theaters in IMAX on Thanksgiving 2026 before streaming on Netflix at Christmas. Oh, and pop star Charli XCX is rumoured to be playing the White Witch!

Scarlett Johansson shuts down Black Widow’s return – and that’s a good thing

Sorry, Marvel fans—Natasha Romanoff isn’t coming back. Scarlett Johansson just put an end to speculation, telling Variety that Black Widow is “dead” and that Florence Pugh will carry the mantle. While Chris Evans and Robert Downey Jr. are reportedly returning for Avengers: Secret Wars, Johansson’s stance keeps Endgame’s emotional weight intact. Reviving every fallen hero weakens the stakes, and Johansson seems more invested in storytelling than paycheck-driven cameos. With Jurassic World: Rebirth on her plate, she’s moving forward, and honestly, that’s the best way to honor Black Widow’s legacy, by letting her sacrifice truly mean something.

Faith, family & music: ‘I Can Only Imagine 2’ gears up with new cast & fresh story

Get ready for an encore of inspiration!

Scorsese & DiCaprio reunite for Gilead adaptation, their next big Apple Original

Martin Scorsese is teaming up with Leonardo DiCaprio once again, and this time, they’re diving into the literary world with Gilead. After the Oscar-nominated Killers of the Flower Moon, Scorsese is set to adapt Home, the second novel in Marilynne Robinson’s acclaimed series. He will write, direct, and produce alongside Todd Field. The novel follows the troubled return of Jack Boughton, a prodigal son with a past, to his deeply religious family. While Scorsese's slate is packed with rumoured projects, this Apple Original might just be the next masterpiece in his legendary collaboration with DiCaprio.

Jeff Daniels joins ‘Shrinking’ season 3—and it’s a perfect fit

Jeff Daniels is trading in his dramatic chops for a comedic stint in Shrinking Season 3 on Apple TV+, playing Jason Segel’s on-screen dad. Known for his Emmy-winning turns in The Newsroom and Godless, Daniels hasn’t done a proper comedy since Dumb & Dumber To in 2014, so this is a welcome comeback! The hit dramedy, co-created by Segel and Bill Lawrence, follows a grieving therapist who throws ethics out the window. With Season 3 set to explore healing and moving forward, Daniels’ role might just give us more insight into Jimmy’s past. Catch up on Shrinking now on Apple TV+!

‘Landman’ strikes oil again: Season 2 confirmed!

Taylor Sheridan’s Landman isn’t riding off into the sunset just yet, Paramount+ has officially renewed the Billy Bob Thornton-led neo-Western for a second season! The oil-soaked drama, inspired by the Boomtown podcast, follows the power struggles of Texas oil moguls, and with its first season breaking records, a renewal was inevitable. However, Jon Hamm’s character, Monty Miller, won’t be back after his shocking finale fate. Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, and more return, and Season 1 drops on DVD/Blu-ray May 13. Stream it now on Paramount+ before the next round of high-stakes drama begins!
