PATCHOGUE, NY — Richard Kind has been acting for decades. He's been on Broadway, in movies and on television, including a recurring role on "Curb Your Enthusiasm," and sidekick for Netflix's new "Everybody's Live with John Mulaney."

Kind will have a conversation about his career at the Patchogue Theater for the Performing Arts. The show called "How NOT to be Famous" is Sunday, May 18.

"There are a lot of actors who just go to work, and don't make the fortunes that big stars do," Kind told Patch.

"How NOT to be Famous" is not a one-man show. Kind humbly said he didn't have the talent for that. Instead, a moderator, veteran TV columnist and radio show host, David Bianculli will lead the show's direction.

"He likes to keep it interesting for me, much less for himself," Kind said.

Despite those in attendance likely will having some knowledge of Kind's work, they'll run through the resume, before Bianculli begins the conversation. Kind will also field questions from the audience.

"Then the show's over and you say,: 'Get out, Richard, I've seen enough,'" he joked.
