Emmerdale has been delivering a series of dramatic scenes lately, with Manpreet Sharma finding herself the victim of blackmail.
Recently, Manpreet confessed to Ella Forster that she was being blackmailed after deciding to share photos on a subscription site.
Ella advised Manpreet to delete her account, but shortly after doing so, the blackmailer messaged again saying: "Deleting your profile won't make a difference" and sent screenshots of her account, adding: "One word to the police and everyone will know your secret."
Manpreet's anxiety over the blackmailer heightened during a lunch with Ella in the village when she received a text from her tormentor warning they were watching her.

Viewers have become suspicious of Ella, especially considering her criminal past, but it's been noted that all the texts were sent while Ella was sitting next to Manpreet, seemingly ruling her out as the blackmailer unless she's collaborating with someone else.
Given Ella's previous prison sentence, viewers are speculating whether Manpreet's sister Meena Jutla could be involved in the scheme and working with Ella.
Fans will remember that Meena is currently serving a life sentence for multiple murders in the village and was last seen in 2022 when she was taken to prison.
With Meena's name resurfacing, fans might be curious about what actress Paige Sandhu has been doing since leaving Emmerdale, reports Leeds Live.

The actress, 28, rarely posts to Instagram but when she does, she has been giving her 65.2K followers an insight into her fitness overhaul.
Last year, Paige took to social media to share her fitness journey, revealing she has been following a rigorous workout programme that has helped her feel more toned and confident. In the Instagram post, she flaunted her toned abs in sportswear, leaving fans impressed.
In her post, she shared her experience with her fitness routine, writing: "I'm really, really enjoying this coaching programme with @lh_training that I've been doing for the past 2 months. I've honestly been surprised with how good and detailed online coaching could be."
She continued: "I went into this process expecting to maybe get stronger and fitter but I definitely didn't realise how much better my sleep would be, my energy levels would be and the feeling of accomplishment I have.
"Yay! I'm excited to see the continued improvements and the feeling of taking care of myself and my body is damn damn good. I've been wanting to have support with my workout journey because honestly, I'm clueless! And the constant support with Lloyd is my absolute favourite part of this process."

She encouraged her fans, by saying: "If you want to get in the shape of your life in 2024 and have accountability, structure and guidance" before promoting her coaching regime.
Elsewhere, away from Emmerdale, Paige has taken on a leading role in upcoming feature film Lioness. Paige plays Queen Victoria's goddaughter Princess Sophia Duleep Singh.
The film has been inspired by the research of historian Peter Bance who wrote about the princess. As well as being Queen Victoria's goddaughter she was the Princess of Punjab and granddaughter of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, and was a key leader in the UK's suffragette movement.
Taking to Instagram, when she revealed the role, Paige stated: "I’m so excited for the world to learn about Sophia, her family and the life she lived."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
